It took awhile to catch my attention, but by the end I was ready to move into the next book in the series.

Fun. A popcorn read, but enjoyable. I'm not driven to immediately go out and buy up all of the other Dresden Files books, but I'll welcome them, one at a time, when I come across them. ...more

Fun & entertaining quick read.

Not high end, but still enjoyable all the same. I liked it enough to add the next book in the series to my to be read list.
I would put it in the same category as a few other series I have read, Rachael Morgan & sookie stackhouse come to mind as far as the type of book. Sort of dry dark sense of humor & kind of out there sense of distorted reality.

Just a fun escapism type of book.

I am currently re-reading the first 2 books in this series, since I want to read the next 2, and I am afraid I forgot some of the background, stories, etc.
