Currently the book is better than Winter's Heart. It's not even close. I'm only 200 pages in.

Save Faile!!! I might burn the series if anything happens to her, come on Perrin do the impossible! (Perrin is one of the main reasons I continue to read)

Wow. I can't say I'm amazed, but this book is by far the best one. I'm only about 300 pages into the book. The plot's moving, people are actually doing something in regards to their plans. at the end I might be able to say I really liked this book with ...more

This is by far the worst book so far in terms of Jordan completely throwing plot development out the window. I felt almost offended at how little effort he put into moving things along and was dumbfounded when he barely even mentions what would've been a really awesome scene (view spoiler) My review for each book and for the entire series can be read here: My WoT series review

This is by far the worst book so far in terms of Jordan completely throwing plot development out the window. I felt almost offended at how little effort he put into moving things along and was dumbfounded when he barely even mentions what would've been a really awesome scene (view spoiler). This was particularly egregious when you read through all of the completely mundane things that he goes on and on about (I'm looking at you lengthy explanations on tower law and protocol). I can give you a plot summary of the book, and not exaggerating, this would fill you in on almost everything you need to know. (view spoiler) I just saved you like 900 pages.

So much time is spent on Aes Sedai politics. Who likes this? It's like watching c-span but knowing that it should be entertaining.
