Another strong installment. I liked it a bit better than the first book. I like, particularly, the focus on Nynaeve, Egwene, Min, and Elayne. It's not really a departure from the previous book, but it did seem to have a bit more focus, strangely, since the main characters have all gone their separate ways and you follow them separately. I enjoyed this second book more than the first of this series. However, there is still that pervasive similarity to Goodkind. This book was published three years before Goodkind's Wizard's First Rule, so I can only conclude that Goodkind borrowed from Jordan. The Great Hunt is chock full of characters, ideas, events, everything. There is a LOT going on. It seems to me that Goodkind borrowed bits and pieces and expanded upon them. There was so much that I didn't remember from when I read this some time ago. I think I actually enjoyed this more the 2nd time around. Maybe I will get through the entire series this time.
