I loved this novel back in the 90s when I read it in junior high or high school. Now? Still an enjoyable read, but not among the best of the best.
This book is damn good- but don't let that fool you. The series starts going downhill after book four. Don't get sucked in to this series because you're going to get burned out on page after page of epic descriptions of tablecloths. Jordan also takes strong females to a new level of bitchyness. You wonder what kind of women were in his life; indeed, his wife was his editor.
