4.0 stars. I really liked this second installment of the Discworld series though I didn't enjoy it quite as much as The Color of Magic. Still it is very good with some laugh outloud moments.

An enjoyable second book in the Disc World series. I like Rincewind the bumbling musiican very much.
I confess, I stuck it out to this book because I heard how so many people enjoyed Pratchett's series. I was not a fan of The Color of Magic. The second book, for me, was worlds better than the first. I really appreciated that this one had a recognizable plot. The jokes seemed more rooted in said plot and better timed.
