I'd like to give this one three and 1/2 stars, but struggled to give it four. I really enjoyed the concept and the world Gaiman envisions, but his writing style is a little thin for me. Some of it is just British vernacular, which feels a bit heavy in places and had me rereading passages to make sure I caught all the nauances. This was my first "graphic novel" I guess that is what this is considered. I picked this one up as it was my turn to pick a book for me and my man to read. I loved every bit of this book, its so visually stimulating. . I loved the idea of the historical parts of London. I hear this is a bbc series, so I can’t wait to watch it, I hope it follows the book visually. I would say Door was my favorite character in the book, they never did say her age but I imagine a teen. I totally recommend this book
