Great series - I love the way the point of views shift throughout the story. I also love the way some initially repulsive characters become more appealing as you learn more about them.
So far, the fantasy elements have been light - it's more of a huge medieval war story, almost like a soap opera in some respects. ...more

Just as good as the first. George R.R. Martin is a master storyteller. I can't wait to start reading the next one.
