Our kitchen-boy hero in this book fumbles through the center of events in this world-falling-apart-King-vs-Prince swords and sorcery tale. Simon (kitchen-boy) gets quite whiny from time to time. That makes the tale drag on... as if the length itself wasn't enough. Considering that the third volume of this tale is a combined 1000+ pages to green angel tower ... I might give this story a rest for awhile.

(How was it possible for Tad Williams to write a single tale spanning 2500-ish pages? I suppos ...more
