What Members Thought
I enjoyed this novel SOOO much, it is seriously one of my favorite series. You cannot say that you are a fantasy/sci-fi buff, if you haven't read this novel. The characters are awesome, the setting is fabulous and the plot gives you everything you could want including political intrigue.

By the time I got to reading this it was a lot of years past being the novelty that a lot of people had found it in the years immediately after its publication. As an Australian I found the water-deprived culture of Arrakis an interesting insight on where we may be one day.
