I started reading this book because I saw Lawhead's Arthur, which has an awesome cover (at least the version I saw did), and I had to read it. The only thing was that Arthur is the third book in Lawhead's Pendragon Cycle Series (and I'm incapable of reading a series out of order). So I decided to by Taliesin, even though it didn't seem as interesting to me (Arthur seems to be written in first person and Taliesin wasn't really).

two thumbs up for stephen r. lawhead.. :)
i've always loved arthurian legend, but his version will always be my favourite, by far.. this book tells the story of taliesin and charis, merlin's parents.. it also tells the story of atlantis' demise and the origin of the kingdom of summer..
though the ending is not really to my liking, but in whole, an amazing story.. ...more
