The twelfth novel in the “Anita Blake Vampire Hunter” series, the book has Anita investigating the serial murders of several strippers. The police find multiple bite marks on the victims. The killer(s) seem to be vampires, and the police call her in as their paranormal expert. I am almost 100% positive that I read this, but I honestly don't remember it. Still, I had to stuck in my head that I was up to Micah, so that is where I will pick up when I eventually get around to reading this series again.

Hot and steamy. Haven't had a book make me this randy in a long time. =)

This one is mostly about Anita having sex, and organizing her lovers. There is a small subplot where she helps the police with a preternatural killer that is targeting strippers.
I enjoyed the police mystery, magic and power development parts of the book.
Warning lots of graphic sex, gore and violence.
