I really enjoyed this read and I think it lived up to it's hype. The tale of a child genius growing up as a military puppet with the weight of the world put on his shoulders is sad and captivating at the same time.

To me, Ender's game is thee science fiction classic to rope new readers into science fiction. It's a very clever tale that has won numerous rewards, and young adults relate to it. It's a science fiction Harry Potter written well before Rowling penned Hogwarts in which young prodigies attend a special academy to train leaders for the future. Written in 1985, it is very prophetic of how video games have been used as military simulations twenty years later.

Enders Game starts off with a 6 year old boy who is one of the smartest kids at first he is montored by a thing on the back of his neck but when he gets it off he thinks that he can be normal now and not a freak but he finds out that he gets the choice to be sent to a place out in space to be trained to be the best general and defeat a alien race they call the buggers. While being transford to the academy he has to be taken there by a rocket with a bunch of other kids his age.

Too bad his politics suck. And he's a homophobe. I just can't give him my money. I also haven't been able to check anything out from the library.
