What Members Thought
I wanted to grow up to be Johnnie Rico and roam the galaxy killing bugs. The movie was a joke. The book is pure excitement with a good story.
Well first off I do agree with my GoodReads friend Manny that this book is an "appalling piece of militaristic propaganda". The book is probably 10% of an actual science-fiction story and the other 90% is all about the military. Secondly though, this book was very entertaining. Not sure why? I guess it must of been the great flow of Heinlein's writing. I disagreed with a lot of his messages but for some reason, it didn't bother me as much as something like that usually does.
