Shelves: buddy-reads

Wow, what an engaging and enjoyable read.

Despit being quite predictable (it was way too easy to figure out the major plot twists), it was fun to experience all he twists and turns. The fast paced plot (plus the steamy stuff) was entertaining enough to keep me happy :D Even the ending was kind of nice - cliffhanger, yes, but not a evil one.

Also, the protagonists weren't half bad ^^
I really liked the MC, Ivy, even though her (understandable) pity party could be a little annoying from time to time. ...more

I am in awe. This book is amazing: Fast paced, full of likeable charas ( I do have a soft spot for snarky ninja kick ass females) and a intriguing fae world.
And don't let me get started on the chemistry between Ivy and Ren- so hot. There are funny comments and Harry Potter references and of course there is Tink. I am seriously in love with Tink ;-)
Please hurry up summer 2015- can't wait to read more! ...more

Diese Geschichte hat sehr viel Potential. Sie ist wirklich innovative mit vielen neuen Ideen und einer Fantasy-Welt, die ihres gleichen sucht.
Die Charaktere sind liebevoll beschrieben, jeder auf seine Art einzigartig und wichtig. Außerdem macht jeder von ihnen eine Entwicklung durch, wodurch man sie einfach mit der Zeit ins Herz schließt.
Der Schreibstil ist dabei wirklich bemerkenswert. Das Buch lässt einen einfach mitfühlen und an vielen Stellen muss man Schmunzeln aufgrund der Wortwitze, Andeu ...more

Ivy gehört einem Orden an, der Feen jagt, weil diese sich von Menschen ernähren. Dabei wird sie fast von einem Ältesten der Feen getötet, doch Ren kann sie gerade noch retten. So kommt die Geschichte ins Rollen.

Basics zu Ivys: Sie ist bei Pflegeeltern aufgewachsen, diese sind an gleichem Tag wie ihre erste Liebe gestorben. Und sie lebt derzeit mit einem illegalen Brownie/Pixie, Tink, zusammen. Der gerne über Amazon bestellt, Amazon Prime schaut und auf Süßes abfährt. Hört sich schon einmal nach ...more

I never thought I would say this, but what a terrible book.
The story is so boring and flat and the charakters too. The only thing that seem to matter are the erotic-scenes, but they are bad too.
Don´t get me wrong, I usually love Jennifers Books but this one is a disaster and seems like Obsidian 2.0, trying to force it into a Young-Adult-Genre.
