My daughter read this book about a year ago and until now I have had no desire to read it. Co-workers at work are reading them so I decided to give it a try. As a die hard Twilight fan, I was afraid it would mimick those books. When I first picked up this book I wasn't too sure of it.
To be totally honest all the talk of the Goddess in the start really kind of put me off. But I stuck with it and I'm glad I did. The story really is interesting and keeps you wanting to know more :) ...more

I love this series. High school girls and YA will like the gothic and supernatural aspects of these books. (some mature material)
Stevie Rae is my favorite character...many of the characters develope and change throughout the series.

This book was really slow going for me and there was way too much emphasis on the drama that goes on between high school girls, but I guess that's what you get with teen fiction :) The book became more interesting during chapter 18. I'll definitely try out the next book in the series, but it's going to have to get a LOT better for me to read all 7+ books!
