My daughter read this book about a year ago and until now I have had no desire to read it. Co-workers at work are reading them so I decided to give it a try. As a die hard Twilight fan, I was afraid it would mimick those books. When I first picked up this book I wasn't too sure of it.
To be totally honest all the talk of the Goddess in the start really kind of put me off. But I stuck with it and I'm glad I did. The story really is interesting and keeps you wanting to know more :) ...more

This book was really slow going for me and there was way too much emphasis on the drama that goes on between high school girls, but I guess that's what you get with teen fiction :) The book became more interesting during chapter 18. I'll definitely try out the next book in the series, but it's going to have to get a LOT better for me to read all 7+ books!
