Well this book was amazing I absolutely loved it. Cassandra Clare really knows how to captivate you, bringing you into her fantasy world full of all kinds of well described creatures that had me in awe and cringing away. She has a wonderful imagination. It was like watching a movie. This book was full on excitement.

Poor Jace is up against the Inquisitor and proving his innocence. Loyalties are pushed, truths are bared, demons are everywhere. Downworlders are being sacrificed and Valentine must be stopped.

This series just seems to be getting better by the book. The action, suspense, magic, and mayhem just never seem to let up.
The level of story development from book 1 to book 2 is astounding. It really feels as though Miss Clare is comfortable with both her characters, and where it is that they are going.
Jace, once again seems to be in the sights of the Clave. More guilt by supposed association.

My goal was to read several chapters in this book but the story, the plot, even the action drew me in. Each chapter I wanted to know what's going to happen next. I loved Alec and Magnus in this book. They were adorable, and the way Alec tried to hide the fact he was dating Magnus from Jace was funny especially since he basically outed himself. We get to see more of Valentine in this book, and he ticked me off. He's the kind of person I hate, a hypocrite. Every time he tried to justify his action
