Holy Night Court!!!! This book just slayed me! Seriously, this book is 624 pages and I could have cried when it ended. I am foaming at the mouth for more. I have so many questions, so many thoughts! I need more! NOW! (May release date for #3) I have been converted into a Rhysand Fangirl!

I have to note, that I was not super in love with the first book, but since so many people swoon over these and i had heard the second one was better, I gave this one a try! I am so glad. This has quickly turned Holy Night Court!!!! This book just slayed me! Seriously, this book is 624 pages and I could have cried when it ended. I am foaming at the mouth for more. I have to note, that I was not super in love with the first book, but since so many people swoon over these and i had heard the second one was better, I gave this one a try! I am so glad. This has quickly turned into one of my all time favorites! I like it so much, I would consider rereading....like right now, right after finishing it! (This is huge for me, because I DO NOT reread anything!!!)

I think part of what I didn't love about the first book was Tamlin..... I mean, I didn't hate him or anything, but there was always something pulling me to Rhysand. So, with this book, kicking off with Feyre about to marry Tamlin, I was worried....but, that wonderful bond between her and Rhys prevailed and thus the love story of Feryshand was anew. I understood a lot of Feyre's guilt, but toward the middle I was about to scream at her to just let Rhys in! I will say, the wait was worth it. Whew.

The queens' betrayal in the end was not a shocker to me. It was so sad though, watching Feyre's sisters being turned and all their friends being hurt in some way. I want hybern to die. I hope Feyre gets to slay him. At this point, i hope she atleast gets to beat the snot out of Tamlin. He is ridiculous. I am wondering if Lucien is going to switch allegiances?? I also, can't help but wonder how long it will take Tamlin to see through Feyre's act? I mean, he eventually is going to expect her to sleep with him, right?!?!?!? How in the world could she do that? Especially, now that Rhys has made her his equal in all ways (swoon). I am curious if she will end up being pregnant? They didn't use the elixer, or whatever it is, to prevent it during their escapades!

I hope they get to the good queen, who helped them with the book quickly....the others will probably kill her for her betrayal if not. She might could be of use with the human realm too.... very curious where this is going.

Holy Guacamole!! How did people survive a whole year after reading this book before they could pick up the next one?? Dear lord!

Alright, now that my hot take is out of the way, let me tell you that I loved this second installment in the series! This novel was split into three parts, and I think it flowed really nicely after the events of A Court of Thorn & Roses. Part one was about recovery and healing from the trauma that happened in the final events of the previous book. A slow anti climatic b Holy Guacamole!! How did people survive a whole year after reading this book before they could pick up the next one?? Dear lord!

Alright, now that my hot take is out of the way, let me tell you that I loved this second installment in the series! This novel was split into three parts, and I think it flowed really nicely after the events of A Court of Thorn & Roses. Part one was about recovery and healing from the trauma that happened in the final events of the previous book. A slow anti climatic build-up that nonetheless made perfect sense. Then part two takes us to a whole new level, and boy, was I ready for it! Rhysand had hit a sweet spot in the first book, and I liked him instantly despite his shady actions and he proved me right in this novel. Please firmly enter my name in the #teamrhysand bandwagon! In part three all hell breaks loose and without giving anything away, I was proud, heart-broken, completely mad and stunned, all at the same time. I am definitely all in!

ACOMAF is quite a long read with its 600+ pages, a long listen in my case (26 hours) because I got the audio book, but it was never boring. The beginning was a tiny bit slow as I couldn't wait for Rhysand to enter the scene once more, but I was totally engrossed throughout and I felt this urge and need to know what happens next, right freaking now, and it had been a long time I felt that reading a book. I really think all the twist and turns we took in this installment were handled masterfully and I am anxious to start the next book.

I'd like to mention how much I loved meeting Cassian, Azriel, Amren & Morrigan. I really hope we get to see a lot more of them in the future. Lucien really disappointed me, but I am ready to let him redeem himself in the future.

This series has a strong fan base, and I totally understand why. If you haven't read the series yet, definitely give it a shot. I gave my non-reader husband a rundown of the story last night and he was so engrossed I almost thought he would ask me to read the book! ...more

I really liked this sequel, but it didn't need the first 200 pages. They were slow and all filler. What happened could've been told in 50 pages. I know sometimes others have a page quota, but come on! The rest was great and I couldn't put it down. LOTS of swear words (boo) including the F word. I recommend this book for older teens because there are a lot of sexy scenes. ...more
