Having very much enjoyed the first book in the series, I was very excited to read the second – and it did not disappoint. The plot is tight and the writing is great. This is a wonderful adventure in the style you just don’t see enough of these days. There’s drama, danger, tension and the wonderful joy of discovery. This is the kind of book that makes you want to pack a backpack and go exploring.
