4.5* This book was wild and gritty and refreshing. Some parts were heartbreaking and maddening. I'm still not sure if I like Deuce or hated him :/ I wish things for them could have taken off sooner before life ate them up and made them affected. I'm not even sure if I really liked this book or if it was just ok... Whoa. This makes any other MC books I’ve ever read seem like nursery books. A deliciously flawed antihero and a nightmare rather than a dream story. And I loved every page. What does that say about me? Dunno and no time to think on it as I’m on to the next in the series...
I have to be honest. This book was a whole lot of crazy. Connecting to the characters was nearly impossible. They were in love one second and then they hated each other at the flip of a switch. It was too much of a rollercoaster for me to truly enjoy the book
