City of Lost Souls (The Mortal Instruments, #5) in Jace/Will/Jem Fan Group!!

I think this book will be as good as the first trilogy. As long as Jace is still included, I will be bliss to read it. Jace is actually the central of attraction to continue reading the Mortal Instruments trilogy. Surely the relationship between Jace and Clary should go on nicely too. Some rough road will be acceptable, but they must not be separated. I will absolutely hate the idea.

Our shadowhunters are back!! Cassandra Clare's long-awaited 5th installment of the Mortal Instruments series is one helluva ride. So much happens in this book! There is action, drama, romance and the always expected comedy, all tied in to multiple storylines running all over the place - in a good way :)

Everybody seems a little bit more grown up in this book. Not only are they all climbing in and out of bed (and showers) with each other (PG of course), but they seem more mature, and we got to se ...more

My life is officially over. After how many months of waiting I am finally able to read City of lost souls and now I am stuck in a whirlwind of ifs and buts, as to what will happen next. How am I supposed to wait for another year??????

If there is anyone reading my review right now that hasn't read the mortal instruments series, seriously pick up the first book city of bones right now, and start reading. Honestly once you start, you realize how much you've been missing out on.

Anyways going back to cols, I loved it. First it was slow and I just wanted to read about Jace. But after a while the adrenalin started to kick in and I couldn't stop reading it.

I knew there was something fishy about Sebastian going on and I never really trusted him. I had a hunch he was fake. And when he nearly (view spoiler) Clary, all I did was smash my head against the book. Literally. How evil can someone get was the only thought that went through my head as I read that scene. Sebastian is crazy. I mean it.

I liked how Cassandra Clare dropped subtle clues about the infernal devices. It was like doing a jigsaw blindfolded, you find the clues but you don't know what they mean.

For some reason the scene were Simon summoned the angel and mentally said goodbye to Clary made me cry. I just love Simon so much.

Izzy was really annoying. I actually like her, but seriously, how couldn't she realize the Simon clearly likes her? after all he kissed her back and slept next to her when she asked, and she still thinks that Simon doesn't like her.grrr

I was annoyed with Alec too for trying to shorten Magnus' life. He should've known not to trust Camille. it was also sad when Magnus said that he is sick of being their pet warlock. I was surprised that he felt that way.

Overall it was a thrilling, captivating, enthralling, awesome, epic, mega, exquisite, gut wrenching book and I recommend it to EVERYONE. I can't wait for the next one. seriously. I CAN'T wait no longer. I want to know what happens next NOW.
but unfortunately not everything is said and done :(

OH...MY..GOD
I tried very very veery hard to try to slow down myself.I got the book after the release and TRIED to read it as slowly as possible so I wouldnt panic that i have to wait 2 YEARS for the last one.I made it to a week.It was very well written and I LOVED IT!
You learn why, its called City of Heavenly Fire around the ending.
After reading it,I feel ... like a robot.i can`t wait for the last book.Readers won`t be disappointed.Brother Zachariah plays a bigger role in this and there`s more o ...more
