This was a wonderful book, and yet another reminder of why we all love Jennifer Weiner and her wonderful novels. The fact is, author Weiner has a knack for creating characters that the reader can easily relate to, and characters that a reader cannot help but become attached to.

"Then Came You" is no exception to this legacy, and Jennifer Weiner has created not one, but four marvelous characters that are note-worthy. India Bishop wants to have a child, and despite all her wealth, is unable to conc

In her new book, Weiner tackles a sensitive and sometimes controversial topic: egg donation and surrogacy. Annie married her high school sweetheart and is a stay-at-home mom to her 2 boys. I loved how seamlessly the characters came together in this novel. Jennifer Weiner weaves an unbelievable tale of love, relationships and the desperation when seeking acceptance. I read this book in record time because quite honestly I could not put it down.

I really enjoyed this book. I love books that offer a different point of view for each of the characters. This book was all about surrogacy and artificial insemination. I was particularly drawn to Annie. My sister-in-law was a surrogate for a stranger. She too had two young boys of her own and then carried a girl. I liked reading the stories each of the women involved had.

The first half of this book was very slow for me- the characters just were not likeable. In the end I did like India's story and I was glad she pulled herself together. You almost couldn't blame her for her behavior, after hearing about what a terrible childhood she had.
The ending was nice when Rory was making the family tree and they were talking about the roles everyone played in her life. Its still a very strange and unusual situation, but I liked how Weiner summed things up. Oh, and I loved
