Emily Henry ATE with this one! I loved everything about this book. The characters were relatable, engaging and interesting. Daphne and Miles reminded me of Shania Twain and her husband in that Shania and Daphne never really saw the friend as an obstacle until boom! I don’t even know if this is a forced proximity in the true sense but it had some elements of that coupled with opposites attract. I liked many aspects of this story as well as the writing. I felt a bit hired at times. Impatient at other times. Seemed a bit slow paced and drawn out. Still enjoyed it just wished I’d really really enjoyed it. Maybe I want in the right mindset for this story? Not sure. Still a decent read.

This starts altogether in a bad place for these two and have to go through healing before they can lean on each other and discover that real can have another chance at love. That Daphne, when responding to a invitation says that she has a date and it is Miles to her ex, starts the agreement that puts them even more closely together. That Miles actually is happy to do it and not giving her a hard time made it work even better. I really liked these two and how it worked out.
