I finished this one in one sitting. That's not to say it was the best book ever - bc I skipped a bit here and there.

The thing is, I find I'm not a fan of serials about the same couple, unless there is something else that keeps the story going, maybe a mystery to be solved, unresolved issues, etc. Even then, I'm not a fan and always wary about getting into one of these.

I'm wary of serials in general. When a series has more than 10 books in it, it's intimidating! And if it's new to me, I tend to r ...more

yes, very nice - I definitely liked the first one better. The angst on this one was a bit high (though I knew it would all work out in the end) - don't let anyone tell you it's a tearjerker since it definitely is not. I kept waiting for Jamie to end up with cancer or the sheep flu or anything...

There are a lot of really nice descriptive passages that I totally enjoyed and the narrators were stellar. ...more

I already knew what to expect, but this time around it wasn't as slow for me. I loved the ending and had the tears again. I forgot that Jess and Blake were supposed to get a book, so I'm going to have to look that one up.

5* Loved it! Wes and Jamie are my 2 favourite hockey men by far. This was fantastic, their struggle through hiding their relationship from the world was stressful on both of them (shed a few tears at one point). I'm very excited there is going to be yet another installment. Really hoping we get to see what happens with Jamie's sister and the neighbor/teammate!! ...more

Finally read this series recommended by @lissyb_20. I loved it! It was so amazing to get 2.5 books about the same couple! Jamie and Wes were childhood friends and when they have a falling out that Wes is too embarrassed to bring up and Jamie is confused why it happened, when the two reconnect at a college hockey tournament, questions are answered.

Reasons I Recommend:

I loved seeing Wes and Jamie again.

I was dying to see the box again...good thing I wasn't holding my breath.

Okay, I keep deleting everything I type, because of spoilers.

Things got a little bumpy, but there was never a doubt about their love for each other.

The green shirts were cute.

Things got bumpy, but they didn't go into unrealistic territory. There were several things that could have gotten really angsty, but turned out a little to easy, and fluffy....but cute.
