I really enjoyed the twist and turns. There were some fun and wild moments but loved the ending too. Though Nico was a rough, tough, alpha male but damn when something is his, he's all in at protecting and making it his. Elena is a tough one too. DNF at 33%. I haven’t read much mafia romances but the ones I have read, I didn’t like. I think mafia romances just aren’t for me personally. I thought this one may be different since this is considered one of the best mafia romance series, but alas, I thought Nico was an asshole with no redeeming qualities. All he did was bully her. How am I supposed to find that attractive? He was treating her like property. No thank you. Plus there was hardly any characterization. Just talk of how each other
