I really enjoyed the twist and turns. There were some fun and wild moments but loved the ending too. Though Nico was a rough, tough, alpha male but damn when something is his, he's all in at protecting and making it his. Elena is a tough one too. I hate when the mafia book ends up with the MC who has a heart of gold and a conscience.
Glad that wasn't the case here.
Not really dark, dark. But there was no issue with killing or being possessive.
