Emily Henry ATE with this one! I loved everything about this book. The characters were relatable, engaging and interesting. Daphne and Miles reminded me of Shania Twain and her husband in that Shania and Daphne never really saw the friend as an obstacle until boom! I don’t even know if this is a forced proximity in the true sense but it had some elements of that coupled with opposites attract. Daphne & Miles

I couldn't even imagine finding myself in a situation like this. Daphne moved to be with her fiancé only for him to later dump her for his best friend. She had a very short turnaround to pack her crap and move and he was such a jerk about it.

The best friend she was left for also dumped her boyfriend, Miles. Miles who spent years trying to be good enough for someone who didn't deserve it, but at least he wasn't homeless.

Miles and Daphne become roommates, then friends, then more.

The premise of this story could have led to a mess in a lesser author's hands. However Ms. Henry did an amazing job again weaving together a story with fun, relatable characters and situations. While the happily ever after is implied being a romance, you have to go through all the feels first with both characters. ...more
