What do I love most about Larissa Ione? I love the way her characters don’t fall into any sort of mold. They can be both good and evil. You never know when she’ll make you fall in love with one of her villains that were reviled in previous books. Her storytelling is so powerful that you can’t help but be swept into the current and go with the flow. Truthfully, I expected I’d be disappointed with Reaver. I enjoyed Reaver A LOT. I missed the Demonica world - and this book delivered in spades. This was Larissa Ione at her best..impending war between Hell and Heaven, escape from dungeon, fights and so much happening in a short time...What a ride!

I really liked the development of Reaver and Harverster's relationship. I am grateful that there weren't 'huge misunderstandings'.. Both Reaver and Harvester made many mistakes in the past and they owned up to all of them, yay! I loved that Harves 4.5 stars

I really liked the development of Reaver and Harverster's relationship. I am grateful that there weren't 'huge misunderstandings'.. Both Reaver and Harvester made many mistakes in the past and they owned up to all of them, yay! I loved that Harvester found the strength to forgive Reaver's awful behavior and just moved on. I really respected Harvester - she was no-nonsense, sensible, unafraid to voice her wishes and she really, really wanted to be with Reaver. I'm not sure Reaver was all that deserving of her devotion. I kinda wanted to smack him at times when he just remembered about his hatred and blurted out hurtful words. But to his credit, he accepted his feelings for Harvester fairly quickly.

There were a couple of absolutely unexpected twists in the book. (view spoiler)

Revenant shined in this book...I can't wait for his story! And I was irritated with Reaver for not listening to Revenant.. Damn, Reaver, you are too hot-tempered!

It was so good to see the heroes from previous books, especially E and Wraith. Love those Sems!

My minor quibble with this book was that for a moment it turned into a soap opera. (view spoiler)

I still round my rating up to 5, because I loved REAVER much more than the latest LOD books.

I had forgotten just how much I really love this series. It's been a while since I read the last Demonica and Horseman books, but I was able to jump back into their world very easily with this book. I love Reaver. He is an awesome character - flawed, but he owns his mistakes. He doesn't try to foster off the blame onto someone else. And I love that. I even loved Harvester in this one.

While this book was great I still missed the horsemen especially Thanatos! My feelings for Harvester have waffled throughout these books but I did end up really liking her. Reaver was awesome as usual and it was cool to be in his head for a while. Their story reminded me of Romeo and Juliet lol. I can't wait to read Revenant's book, love when an author does the bad boy lead :) ...more

OMG I can't believe I started this and manged to walk away?!?!? Well I restarted it yesterday and read till I was DONE!!

Larissa Ione is a magician of the word. And a true master of the series. She can take a character that was introduced a few books ago and appears occasionally or even quite a lot through the next books that you enjoy and when it is time for their book they suddenly become this force that is essential in the (previous) book so that all you want and need is to know more about the ...more

I loved this! Probably my favourite out of the Demonica and Lords of Deliverance series. I felt the connection between Reaver and Harvester, and I liked the reveal and who the next book was about. I have been a bit disappointed in some series recently, but not this one from Larissa Ione.
