I had read this over a decade ago for college, and have wanted to re-read it because I knew I really didn't get to really read it. There was a lot I didn't remember, but I did have a good concept of it. I do wonder if Huxley was trying to shock us - there are things that are shocking now much less when it was orginally published in 1932. A friend had pointed out it was less shocking and more dehumanizing. Is this a route we are taking a society - especially with the idea of a pill will fix whate ...more
