Sure the book is nearly 60 years old, and we've learned so much in the decades since. But no other account is so well-drawn, so riviting. When Kansas-born Robert ballard led the team that discovered Titanic's wreackage in 1985, many significant details have been learned about the great ship's demise. But Lord draws you into the story of the various personalities of those aboard the doomed liner. John Jacob Astor, Isidaor and Ida Strauss, and of course, Molly Brown are just a few of the names connected with Titanic. A Night to Remeber is a very fast read, once you are caught up in the tragedy, you simply can't put it down. It is a terrific primer to the legend of Titanic.
