I don't hate that I read it, but it wasn't what I expected.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children was a delightful read. I thought the author was clever in writing a story that centered around some very unusual old photographs of children. This story reminded me of a cross between a Harry Potter story and the X-Men comic characters.
