This book has an interesting premise, however, I really wanted to knock some sense into what was left of civilization. 20+ years into this and people are still scavenging. Maybe doing a bit of gardening. People that went out to settle The West had done so much more with so much less. They don't have the zombies to fight like in the Walking Dead. Miranda was by far my favorite character. She created a world from her world. It wasn't my favorite book. It felt slow with a lack of imagery besides the short moments when the actual Station Eleven was being described. It felt like an extremely small tidbit of a different world that I'd like to know more about. It was a good reminder of that great cliche that no matter what, life goes on.
