I know I'm late to the party on this one, but I finally got around to reading this book, and I couldn't love it more. So many feelings! Nostalgia for my teen years (and shuddering at my teen years), happiness, heartbreak, and hope for these wonderful characters. I love Eleanor and Park, both. Love, love, love this book! I couldn't and didn't want to put it down. I loved that it was set in the 80's and has a Bon Jovi reference, lol! It brought back many memories with all of the music references ....and .... Many connections for me since I can relate to Eleanor with dealing with a step-father and remembering that feeling of wanting to be invisible, avoid whenever possible, and be out of the house as much as I could.
