I remember finding it fascinating when I was younger reading this for the first time, that it has NO correlation in practically any way with any of the Frankestein movies I've ever seen. It's like everyone just decided to go for as much brute horror as they could get out of the entire thing. I love the narrative of the monster's thoughts, as you become entrenched in his idea of HIM versus THEM.
