It's funny how little of what's contained in most Frankenstein movies actually came from the book. The book is so different from most of the movies it's almost unrecognizable as the same story. I feel kind of lukewarm about the book, I didn't love it but I didn't hate it either. I found myself skimming over portions and just wanting to be done but there were parts that I enjoyed as well. Overall, I'm glad I read it-it's definitely a classic.
