What Members Thought
A quite enjoyable book. I only wish that Miss Marple had figured as more of a main character, instead of just appearing infrequently throughout the book until the end.

The first Miss Marple story and agatha Christie's first attempt at a mystery... not my favourite but enjoyed it!

Not as good as a Hercule Poirot novel. Miss Marple and interesting cat but not terribly likable. But, like the Murder of Roger Ackroyd, I enjoyed the 1st person narration style, and Christie does very well to plot these stories.
