Why did I read this book? Because it was on a list of 100 "must-reads" and I hadn't read it. I'll be somewhat nice because it was written in 1985, but seriously I have no idea what it was doing on that list. Not only is it full of platitudes, stereotypes and just plain predictable dialogue- but by the time I got to the end I no longer cared how this woman was going to manage her next far-fetched con.
