What Members Thought
Holy mother of plot twists and intense flawed characters.
My favourite Sarah Waters book.
Utterly captivating, although I'll admit that it was hard for me to get "into" the book at first. I was roughly 100 pages in before the story really gripped me. I'm a big fan of historical fiction, and look forward to reading more by Waters. I've been told that her other Victorian novels aren't as good as this one, but I'll check them out and see.
