...I'm about halfway through, and even though I'm liking the premise, I can already tell it's going to get super obnoxiously religious in future books. I'll keep reading the series until I can't stand the relgious overtones any more.

I loved this series. It was surprisingly not overly religious wich I liked. I didn't really care for the movies though.

I don't believe in the Rapture, but reading something from the viewpoint of people who do is instructive.
