What Members Thought
Usually when it concerns a book like Shiver, there are two teams. There is the "OMGZ THIS IS THE BEST BOOK, SAM IS HOT<333" team and the "this sucks. i'd rather die than read this shit again" team. They're both pretty self-explanatory. But right here, right now I will make a third team. I will call it "We Like Shiver".

Reading a book by Maggie Stiefvater is always an experience for me. The way Maggie uses her words is always lyricl and beautiful, and I find myself lost in the pictures she has created for me in my mind. This book was no exception.
The world of werewolves in this book is not as glamorous or over sexed as a lot of the current werewolf literature for young adults. It's not something that makes the wolves revel in their conditon. Its nice to see that idea explored, even if this started before the wh ...more

It is an incredibly sappy and boring book. I could hardly read it till the middle and then had to give up completely. I can recommend this book only to "Jacob" fans and all werewolf-obsessed teens.
