Really great written story, it took me awhile to figure out if I love or hate this book (I do love it), the frame story was not what I expected as the actual narator is not really involved in the action at all and his only key moment was at the end of the book where, already knowing all the event he opens up Cathy’s eyes a bit. But regardless, the characters are very rounded, antipatic, you really can’t love anyone, it’s maybe a matter of who do you despise less because although they are really ...more

THIS. BOOK. HAS. SO. MANY. UNLIKEABLE. CHARACTERS. SO SO MANY. The main characters are the spawns of FUCKED UP. This is NOT A LOVE STORY, oh no. But it is a handbook in all the ways you can fuck up your love life and also fuck up everyone else's life around you. Why did I still rate it a 3 star? Well, I'll be damned if I know. Any book that can extract such violent reactions from it's readers is worth something. That's probably why. ...more
