With all the hype and chatting I've been doing regarding this book I have to say I sort of expected it be a certain way, and in some ways it was, but in other ways it blew me away.
Even though the book is short (84 pages) there was sooo much in it my head was spinning.
Let's not forget the sex, or sexting, Mal and Cillian are HOT!!!!

Dirty Deeds is no longer a part of Hell or High Water series. It's a series on it's own and I already see visions of the way they did The Flesh Cartel series is chapter books, which will suck. This was really very little more than world building - setting ground work. The sex doesn't connect because these two characters really had no chemistry. Most of their connection was through sexting which was a little hotter than their actual sex but not much. Will I continue to buy this series, probably ...more

I loved this spin of series of Hell or Highwater better than the original series. Cillian has always been an interesting and sometimes cute flirty character out of the original series. I loved the banter back and forth about the couch. In this book we get to see a lot more of Cillian and get some of his background. Great characters and rough and sexy sex. Cillian is deep undercover looking for a former Seal team member whose a traitor "John", Mal ( Ex Navy Seal) is looking for "John" as well both are working with Prophet whose also looking for "John" but for other reasons. Love that even though Mal and Cillian never met or so they think they are hot and heavy IMing. So hot! Once again I am blown away by the worlds that Ms. Jakes creates. I read on average 200 books a year and there are only 4 authors that I will stop everything for and read their book right away. S.E. Jakes is one of those 4 (the others being Sophie Oak, Mary Calmes and Abigail Roux). I think what I enjoy the most (aside from the scorching hot sex) is the way her series are tying together. Took me several tries to get back into reading this, but I am glad I persevered, because dayum, that ending blew me away.
