This is actually my favorite of the series so far.
There was more of a plot than in the first two and I liked watching rentboy Nick bring out Spencer's submissive and masochistic side. Nick is a cocky Dom who fits the part just right and knows how to read Spencer and push him to his limits. The progression of the relationship felt natural, although I wold have liked to see a little bit of what happened during the 3 month time jump in training.

My prayers have been answered! Ever since the last book in this series mentioning Nicky, I hoped for a book focused on the kinky rentboy Top. Ms. Witt and Mr. Voinov appease my desires with a very sexy read. I devoured this book in one sitting.

Me está gustando mucho mas la historia de Nick y Spencer que la anterior. Creo que aquí hay de hecho una historia que contar, más que un fragmento o escena recortada de otra que desconocemos en su totalidad. Just a little rant and bit of spoiler:
I had a difficult time rating this one.
I'm really not a BDSM fan...especially not a fan of pain, but somehow this one worked for me. It was pretty intense, but Nick took care of Spencer afterwards, which was comforting.
This was the problem: Nick leaving Spencer so abruptly, before he could calm down from their scene was shocking...uncomfortably so. After months of trust being built, completely doing a 180 was so out of character for Nick that it was not bel ...more

There is absolutely no relationship development in this story. It is all D/s and S/m; some of it was hot but the story itself was long enough to at least prove there was some kind of a connection between Spencer and Nick that was more than just sex. I wasn't convinced! Maybe If It Fornicates will be more convincing.

I loved this volume in the Market Garden series! I'm not totally sure I can tell you exactly why, but it just left me with a wonderful feeling of Fistpump! "Way to go, guys!" and a big smile on my face. I loved both characters, Spencer and Nick. I loved how their relationship started, progressed and grew. I loved how Spencer just trusted and I loved how Nick just realised.

Really good! I furor how good Witt and Voinov are when they're writing together. I do wish we'd gotten some of Nick's POV and I'm so glad there's more to Nick and Spencer's story!
