I'm embarrassed that I'm this old and have never read this book or seen a movie. I have found it extremely fascinating, gruesome, touching, and very emotional.
Stoker did an extremely convincing job of writing it, and it was very believable as a reader.

I want to go back about a hundred years to read Dracula. This story is so much a part of our culture and so well known that, at least for this modern reader, it’s missing some of its terror. I knew what was going to happen, because I’ve known this story before I could even read. In losing some of that suspense, Dracula is just plain long. Quasi-recommended.
