At first I thought this book was going to be like the first book. I Thought they would be happy and nothing could break them apart. I thought Grace would be the good girl in the beinging but this book surprised me. Graced started off sick. In the first book, she only got sick onces. This made me think 100% different about Grace. I thought she was going to change but kind of hoped it was something different. How can you almost kill Sam just to be with him and then your body is trying to shift. I thought she was going to change but kind of hoped it was something different. How can you almost kill Sam just to be with him and then your body is trying to shift. That pissed me off. Now Sam is going to lose not only is family but his future wife.
I hated Cole in the begining. He was to much of a smart ass. Thats the kind of guy I would never want to be around. He had some funny lines but most of what he said was annoying. I love how more to the end he started to get a heart. He is heartless too. How could you talk someone into being a wolf not because it was saving his life but because he didnt want to try it alone. He only thinks of himself. Selfish!
Isabel has a lot of never at the end. I hated her in Shiver but in the begining of linger, she was alittle better. She acted more of a friend but she was still a female verison of cole. They really are meant to be together. So the main problem I have with her is she feeds the wolfs in the begining. This makes the wolfs come into her yard. Knowing good and well her dad hates wolfs after Jack. By the end of the book, her dad kills Victory (cole's friend). Her dad goes to Becks house while Sam, Grace and cole were there. He crammed his body in his truck and put crap all over him then threw his body on the floor. A few hours later, Isabel shows up and acts likt the bitch she is. She tried to act like Grace's mom. She lectured Grace about running away. Im glad at the end she started to care more and help Grace.
Like a said I hate Grace. Her love for wolfs just got her in to much trouble. In the begining of the book, She goes to search for any new wolfs in Isabels back yard. They find a dead wolf with blood on its mouth and nose. I wondered what that had to with anything but im glad to find out. The whole time, I'm thinking she is shifting finally and I hated her the whole time and everything she did just made me mad. I cant believe she was dying this whole time. She Turned into a whole new girl. So she got what she wanted, She always wanted to be a wolf. But she Had to leave Sam just to live. She has to thank Cole for being super smart.
I still Love Sam! He is my dream boyfriend and he has a huge heart. I cant believe he keeps loosing everyone he loves. I think he should be bitten again so he had be with everyone he loves.
Other then that, if was a really good book. I think everyone should read it. ...more

Shelves: wishlist, bibliotheksbuch

Ob es daran lag, dass ich gestern furchtbar deprimiert war, weiß ich nicht, aber gestern Nacht konnte ich echt kaum einschlafen, weil das Buch so an mir genagt hat. Die Geschichte von Sam und Grace war schon im ersten Buch unglaublich romantisch und realistisch, anders, als die Liebesromanzen, die ich bisher aus Büchern kenne.

Ich habe beschlossen, mir die drei Büchern zu kaufen, weil ich mich wieder sofort in die Charaktere und Stiefvaters Schreibstil verliebt habe.
