In the second installment to the Wolves of Mercy Falls series: Sam is having trouble believing in his cure, Grace is acting strangely and feeling like she doesn't fit into her own skin anymore, and a new wolf is in Mercy Falls: Cole, the once lead singer of a popular rock band, NARKOTIKA, is dealing with the issues of straddling the line between man and wolf. But honestly? He'd rather stay a wolf than deal with the problems that come with being human.

I've just finished reading Linger, with a tear or two sliding down my cheeks. I'm not exactly sure what my feeling are for this book, but I Loved It!
This story is beautiful, pure and simple. Maggie has a wonderful style of wrting, almost poetic. There are moments in the book where I reread a certain phrase of paragraph over and over again because I loved the ways the words were written up together.

*SQUEAL*!!! ^^ I love this series!!!!! This book has it all, drama, suspense, love, everything!!!!! I can't get enough of Sam, Grace, Cole and Isabel! They are just too amazing!! What I love about this book, is the fact that werewolves aren't these mythical creatures part of the occult, here they are infected human beings, purely science and logical!

I love this book! It's so darn funnnny and romantic. I LOVE THE GREEN FONT!!!!!! makes the book much more awesome :) Maggie Stiefvater writes her books with a ton of imagery and mystery that keeps the book flowing. I love the last two sentences--It made the book so dramatic and made me want to read the next book so much more. Cole was a great new character to the book, I think It's just what it needed. He's not like Sam at all, he's his own self, in a confusing way. 5 Stars for this series!!

It was a bit slow to start off with & I struggled to get my head into it right away but once I did, I really enjoyed it. Isabel & Cole are such a great addition to the book and Sam & Grace feel like a modern day version of Romeo & Juliet. I love all the characters. The last few chapters are the best & most heartbreaking. I love the mix of emotions that Maggie takes you through. She really knows how to pull at your heart strings :-)

The author really knows how to title her books, again another title that sets the mood for the entire book. Though I think this book lacked a bit of surprise, given that the introduction of the book led you to expect the outcome. I did love Cole in this book. A nice change of pace, and Isabelle did become more of an important character in this story as well :)
