Ever since I started reading, this title was ingrained into my memory. I have an aim to read all the classics in my lifetime and I feel so satisfied having completed this.
The life story of Emily Bronte seems like any ordinary female's of her era but I can't imagine what kind of a girl she must have been or what kind of an imagination she must have had to come up with the intense characters and scenes that she did.

I was completely mesmerized by Wuthering Heights. I could not put it down. No wonder there are so many contemporary references to Heathcliff and Cathy! The first chapters are difficult, but wade through them anyway. They'll make more sense later. This book is definitely not for everyone - extremely dark - and I'll admit that I could've used a little psychological counseling when it was over! For the romantic, however...you'll love it.

I wanted to see how the book would end. I had a hard time with this book because I really couldn't identify with any of the characters. Usually there is someone that you are rooting for, and this novel I did not experince that. While reading this one feels very isolated.
