One of the most interesting books I have read about women and literature. I believe that all women writers should have read this book as a "bible" of the "Women's literature".
I love to write and I thought it was difficult nowadays to become woman writer. Now, I know it has always been very difficult. I find out from this book all the reasons why and I know it has been worse a lot of years ago. But those women writers not only "survived" but they wrote great novels we still read and admire.

I had never read anything more liberating, being a woman. The book speaks lucidly. I am inspired reading it.
