4.5 stars, for people who like Anita Blake meets Cat and Bones, you'll love this. This version had the errors in it, I have hear the author was re-releasing the previous works with updated revisions, I didn't end up with that one, so based on the version I read I took off half a star for the errors. The overall story was interesting I wasn't sure where it was going but I did suspect a few people, however I ended up being wrong in some ways about the other. This steady to fast paced plot keeps readers hovering on the edge of anticipation with lots of suspense, excitement and romance. The author brings the story to life with well written scenes and details that capture the imagination and the intriguing world ar Bartender by trade, loudmouth by choice and necromancer by change, Rhiannon Murphy finds herself helping the deliciously sexy vampire, Disco in investigating the mysterious vampire disappearances in this riveting erotic urban fantasy romance.

This steady to fast paced plot keeps readers hovering on the edge of anticipation with lots of suspense, excitement and romance. The author brings the story to life with well written scenes and details that capture the imagination and the intriguing world arouses curiosity and ensures that the reader wants to know every last detail. The characters are strong, charismatic and grab the reader attention from the very beginning while the well orchestrated suspense and excitement draw the reader deeper into the story.

Rhiannon has some emotional issues from her past that hinders ability to trust and she really doesn’t understand her affinity for the dead or undead, so when she finds herself attracted to Disco, she fights giving in to his demands. The reader can’t help but get caught up in their romance as Disco tries to penetrate Rhiannon’s walls and learn her secrets while their desires burn up the pages with some hot and steamy sex scenes.

The world J.A. Saare has created is fascinating and has a lot of interesting elements and surprising twists to keep the readers guessing. All of the characters are compelling but Rhiannon really stands out, she’s insecure and has no clue about the world she gotten caught up in, but yet she’s a strong kick ass heroine, kind of contradictory but certainly works for her and Disco of course is just too hot and maybe too good to be true, well have to see if the other shoe drops or if there is more than meets the eye. While I thought the beginning was a little slow to start off, it wasn’t long before I was completely caught up in the story and I can’t wait find out what happens next… especially as the conclusion leads me to believe it will be a things about to get really interesting in her world. ...more
