1st Read June 2016: The beginning of the book was a bit strenuous. I hated Lachlain and Emma was annoying. He was way too pushy and possessive and she was super wimpish. They do get better throughout the book but I still think Lachlain is just a bit too possessive.
Emma grows into a formidable character, though. She learns to hold her own against all the controlling bullshit that gets thrown at her. Lachlain tries his best to reel in the alpha crap but I'm still not all that impressed with him.

It was okay. I started reading this because of all the good reviews and raves from paople in my goodreads group. It wasnt bad, just not that great. There was a lot of cowering and self pity in this one, not really my thing. Im going to read the next one before I judge, though.
