Loved these characters. Extreme conditions throw these characters together, and as events unfold love grows. Read in a day, started the story and I just had to keep reading to see what would happen next.
August 2016- Just re-read as an audible book! Loved the narrators accent and she did a great job keeping her accents for each of the characters! Still a great story!

For some reason I have been putting off reading this novel but I am glad that I decided to spend a very enjoyable weekend, finishing this book at about 3am in the morning.

This is a great read.

I am most certainly biased in that I am British, but I loved this story. I particularly loved the use of dialogue and humour throughout the novel, as this was excellent and completely placed you in the moment with it's realistic tone. I've sort of read Cari Hunters books a bit out of order so I'm only just getting around to her debut. I enjoyed it, as usual, it grabs you from the start and doesn't let go. The characters feel genuine and the relationships aren't over the top, nor is the action. I guess I feel close to this book because it's set near to where I live so it really came alive for me; same with the Dark Peak series. Looking forward to reading more of Hunters books. 4 stars. I’ve been meaning to read more by Hunter since I read Unbreakable last year. Decided to pick up her debut novel and was not disappointed. This is a really good debut. I love her writing style. She’s a very gifted storyteller. The pacing was great, it never dragged nor was I ever bored with it.
